Andhra Pradesh: A 15-year-old girl, who was pregnant after allegedly being raped by her cousin, died on her way to hospital.
Her condition came to light only when she complained of stomach pain to her grandmother.
She confided that her 26-year-old cousin repeatedly raped her when she was alone at home, reported Deccan Chronicle.
She was taken to a local public health centre but when the minor’s condition deteriorated quickly, she was rushed to a nearby hospital in Vikramgadh.
Police are confident of nabbing the suspect, and has registered the case.
Polish woman drugged and raped on her way to Delhi
New Delhi: A Polish woman was allegedly drugged and raped while she was on her way to Delhi from Mathura with her two-and-a-half-year old daughter.
She claims that she was threatened with a knife and sedated before being dragged into a car and driven off, reported ToI.
She cannot recollect if there was more than one person involved.
When she regained consciousness near a railway station, she approached police who got her medically examined and have registered a case under sections of abduction, wrongful restraint, causing hurt, poisoning and rape.
The woman has been in India for the last three years.
Wife takes 3 kids and elopes with lover
Mumbai: A 29-year-old woman in Mumbai has eloped with her three kids and her lover, while the shocked husband has filed a case seeking to have his family back.
The 36-year-old man – a tailor - said that his wife always complained of headache and wanted to visit a shrine. However, he believed she needed medical help, reported MidDay.
On Christmas Eve, he woke up to realise his family had vanished. He filed a case with police.
Their investigations revealed that she was in regular touch with a 24-year-old notorious charmer, who was known to befriend women before robbing them.
The woman’s husband now fears his family is in danger and wants police to bring them back.
He is ready to forget and forgive her, the report adds.
Mom abandons 5 kids on railway track
Maharashtra: A woman abandoned her five children at a railway station in Aurangabad. The kids aged between two-and-a-half and five years of age were spotted by public playing on the tracks.
The eldest child told police that their mother left them there saying their father would henceforth take care of them, reported ToI.
None of the children – three girls and two boys – were able to give details of their family.
They have been admitted to a social service unit.
A medical examination revealed they are all healthy.
Investigations to trace their parents are, meanwhile, underway.
