Saudi post man falls ill after opening letter from Korea

A Saudi post office employee fell ill and was rushed to hospital in the Gulf Kingdom after opening a letter coming from South Korea, a newspaper reported on Friday.

The employee at the sport office in the northwestern town of Tabuk decided to open the envelope after noticing there was an “unusual” bulge in its lower part, Sabq said.

“Just after opening the letter, the man fell ill and was rushed to hospital in a serious condition… sources said the envelope may contain some sort of infection,” the paper said, adding that it would publish more details later.
