Security guard traps himself in handcuffs

A bored Czech security guard got himself into an embarassing situation while testing a pair of handcuffs, only to realise he didn't have the keys as the locks clicked shut, police said on Wednesday.

"I handcuffed myself and I don't have the keys," Prague police spokesman Jan Danek said, quoting the guard with a private company in Prague, who called the police emergency line.

"He found out he didn't have an important part of the gadget -- the keys. Fortunately, the police resolved the unpleasant situation and freed him," Danek said on the police website.
