In a bizarre move, a comic book fan decided to chop his nose off so he could resemble Marvel comic super villain Red Skull.

The 37-year-old Henry Damon from  Venezuela now calls himself Red Skull. He was already sporting bumps on his forehead and arms before he decided to go for the big chop, reports News.com.au.

The 'extreme fan' always wanted to look like a comic book character and he got an opportunity to live his dream when he met up with a surgeon who specialises in extreme body modifications.

Red Skull first appeared in 1947 as the Nazi agent arch-enemy of comic book hero Captain America. He is ranked as the 14th greatest comic book villain of all time.

Chopping off the nose is just the first step towards the change, the surgeon was quoted as saying to the website. Henry will spend thousand of dollars more to get silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks. Then his face will be dyed red to make him a complete 'Red Skull'.
