Wife seeks divorce over husband's Valentine's Day lies

An Egyptian woman filed a court suit to split from her husband after she discovered that he had an affair on Valentine'd Day.

The woman told court that her husband lied to her when he said he was going to work on Valentine's Day, instead of celebrating the occasion with her and their two children.

Newspapers in Cairo said the woman told the judge that she later went out with the two children to the park only to get the shock of her life.

“She told court that she saw her husband with another woman. She said he claimed that the woman is only a friend, but she did not believe him. She told the judge that she insists on a divorce,” a court source said.
