A Saudi 70-year-old man flying to Riyadh for treatment died on board a Saudi Airlines flight just half an hour before it landed, Okaz daily said on Sunday.
The pilot and other cabin crew members tried to save the man’s life but he died aboard the aircraft, which was flying to the capital from the northern town of Qurayyat, the Arabic language newspaper said.
“The man was flying to Riyadh for treatment of an illness…but fate was quicker than the aircraft and he died half an hour before it landed,” it said.
