Desperate Man Utd on the Hunt-elaar for Klaas-Jan

Desperate to sign players to ensure they have enough to battle it out with Manchester City, Manchester United have Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar back on their radar.

Sir Alex Ferguson will get down to business again and the Red Devils were reported to be considering a swap deal for the Dutch hitman, with Dimitar Berbatov going the other way.

But Schalke insist the Bundesliga club do not want to sell the former Real Madrid forward.

"At this moment we have not received any offer for the services of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from any club," he said.
