Hari stars for Al Naboodah Eleven Top

An unbeaten 78 by Hari Prasad gave Al Naboodah Eleven Top a six-wicket win over Al Jaseen in the 22nd Twenty20 Bukhatir League ‘B’ Division tournament organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council at the Al Dhaid Cricket Village.

Chasing 167 to victory, Hari led from the front even though wickets fell at the other end.

His knock of 78 from just 45 balls included seven boundaries and four sixes.

He and Kapil Ramdas (31 not out) shared an unbroken 99-run fifth wicket partnership as they romped home to victory in 18.3 overs.

Earlier, bating first, Hanal (27), Zohaib (39), Sahbaz (30) and Jalal (25) contributed to help Al Jaseen achieve 166 in 20 overs.

Rajesh picked up three wickets while Mohammad and Dihan took two each.

In another match, Insan Khan scored a half century as Cost Cutter beat Bukhatir Group by 39 runs.

Batting by choice, Cost Cutter scored 169 for eight in 20 overs.

Insan took only 45 balls to reach 54 while Amjad Javed chipped in with 28 from only 11 deliveries consisting of six boundaries.

Harris Khan chipped in with a 16-ball 23 as they made 169 for eight in 20 overs.

In reply, Nabeel bowled a superb spell claiming four for 14 from three overs while Amjad Javed took three in his four overs as Bukhatir Group could muster only 130 in 18.4 overs.

Shamooz Khan top scored with 55 which went in vain.
