A superb unbeaten century by UAE player Swapnil Patil ensured Yogi Group scored a convincing seven-wicket over Team Interface in the 39th Bukhatir League ‘A’ Division Tournament organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council.

After restricting Interface to 218 in 49.4 overs at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Yogi Group were struggling initially losing two wickets inside five overs with just 23 runs on board.

Patil arrived at the crease and he along with Anop Revi began the revival act. The duo partnership milked together 85 runs for the third wicket to ease things for Yogi Group.

The departure of Revi, who scored 37 from 63 balls consisting of two fours, did not seem to have affected Yogi Group as Patil found another able partner in Aniket Desi.

They joined together to share an unbroken 113-run for the fourth-wicket as Yogi Group achieved the target in 39.2 overs.

It was a stellar knock from Patil who blasted 11 boundaries and three sixes during his unbeaten 112 consuming only 106 deliveries.

Desi took 50 balls to reach 40 with the help of three boundaries and one six.
