Bottom of the Premier League Bolton were waiting on the fitness of goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen ahead of Wednesday's match away to Everton.

The Finn, who has been with Bolton since 1997, suffered a thigh injury in the 1-1 draw with relegation rivals Wolves on New Year's Day and is now regarded as a major doubt for the clash with fellow Lancashire side Everton.

If he fails to recover in time, Jaaskelainen is set to be replaced by Adam Bodgan.

Darren Pratley, who missed Saturday's match due to illness is available again, while Bolton defender Gary Cahill, despite an impending move to Chelsea, is set to feature again at Goodison Park.

Bolton are currently a point adrift of Blackburn at the foot of the table.
