Former French international defender Gael Givet will give another boost to relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers as he looks set to return to the starting line-up in the Premier League clash with Stoke on Monday.
The 30-year-old - a Champions League finalist with Monaco in 2004 - had sat out the previous four games, including Saturday's stunning 3-2 victory over Manchester United, after being forced to undergo a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat.
Givet, who has been at Rovers since joining from Marseille in 2009, was given the all-clear and has been included in the squad for the match with Stoke.
The victory over United at Old Trafford lifted Rovers off the bottom above Bolton but they are still three points adrift of safety.
