Hatta Club and Ajman enter semifinals

Hatta Club and Ajman Club sailed into the semi-finals of the first UAE Beach Soccer League held at the Al Mamzar Beach on Friday.

In two thrilling matches, Hatta Club defeated Dibba Al Hosn 7-3 and Ajman Club beat Al Oroubah 8-5 in the other quarter-final to set up a meeting with each other on Friday at the same venue.

Hatta Club played to a plan led by their charismatic skipper Bakhit Saad. Saad opened the scoring while Ali Mohammed and Kambar Moussa banged in two goals apiece and Hassan Abbas and Faiz Mohammed scored one each as Hatta Club completed their passage into the semi-final.

Moussa Hassan was the only one who got his name on the scoresheet for Dibba Al Hosn with a well-struck hat-trick, but that did not matter as Hatta Club made their way through to the next stage.

In the second quarter-final, Adel Shanbieh, Adnan Abdul Rehman and Hassan Ali scored two goals each, while Ahmed Salim and Adham Hassan had one each as Ajman Club walked away victorious.

For the losing side, Abdullah Ahmed scored twice and Mohammed Sabah, Ghanem Khalfan and Abdullah Rashid got one goal each.
 
Ajman Club will now meet Hatta Club in the first semi-final on Friday.
