Platini hopes Qatar shares World Cup
Fifa Vice President Michel Platini says he wants Qatar to share 2022 World Cup hosting duties with its Gulf neighbours.
Platini says he hopes the tournament will be "a World Cup of the Gulf."
The UEFA president has already said he agrees with moving the tournament to January to avoid Qatar's extreme desert heat in summer.
Platini says it's OK to alter World Cup plans after winning hosting rights, and he did the same when leading French organisers of the 1998 event.
Qatar football leader Mohamed bin Hammam has said Fifa's executive committee should wait until 2018 before discussing changes to the tiny emirate's plans.
Platini and bin Hammam are seen as front-runners to be the next Fifa president.
