LeasePlan Emirates, the UAE corporate long term vehicle leasing and fleet management company , has announced the winners of their inaugural golf event held at the Yas Links Abu Dhabi Course on Saturday October 26.
The golf event was attended by a range of VIP corporate partners, industry peers, media guests and staff members from LeasePlan Emirates from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Over 84 players in teams of four took to the field to lay claim to the LeasePlan Driver Cup Tournament Trophy.
Emanuel Ostojic, Gareth Dennison, Roman Hawcazk and Henry Kim took first honours with a collective score of 57.8 nett. LeasePlan Emirates’ Nicholas Mercado and family members Gary and Mary Mercado came in at second place as runners up with an ever so slight score differential of 0.1 points.

The evening proceedings were marked by a post game, lawn-dining presentation and award ceremony where players, partners and clients gathered to recognise two LeasePlan Emirates supported charities called Senses and Manzil. Both charities support the UAE community particularly children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Trophies of recognition were accepted by Dr Ayesha Saaed-Hussaini, founder of Manzil and Gabby Chamat of Venture Communications accepted the award on behalf of Senses in the absence of Dr Lina Ouwais, founder of Senses.
Derek Rozycki, executive director and Head of Structured Finance, Mubadala and Board Member for LeasePlan Emirates said: “It has been a true spirit of partnership that has led us to work with and LeasePlan Emirates and it is in that spirit that we here today.
