Ahmed Yasin Mal Allah, founder and leader of the Kuwait University Cycling team, cycled 500km for an entire week through the UAE.
The first round of his tour started in Fujairah, then passed through Ras al-Khaimah, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai, and eventually reached Abu Dhabi.
He aims to raise awareness and promote the UAE’s cultural and tourist destinations while travelling by bicycle.
According to Mal Allah, he chose the UAE because of its great interest in the sport of cycling, and the presence of many cultural, historic and tourist destinations, as well as its excellent provisions for safety and security.
The cycling journey, his second, followed a tour of Kuwait last November that covered a distance of 600km in a week.
