Ajmal, Rana sparkle as Alubond bounce back in Big Forty

Mohammed Ajmal and Akbar Rana played pivotal roles in reviving Alubond Cool & Cool’s campaign in the Big Forty cricket tournament at the Fair Ground Oval over the weekend.

The tournament is being held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council (DCC).

Alubond bounced back after losing their first two matches with wins over DCC 40’s Club and Dubai Mammoths.

Against DCC 40’s Mohammed Ajmal starred with four wickets and an unbeaten 43, while against Mammoths it was Akbar Rana’s two wickets and a crafty unbeaten 77 which helped his team home.
