H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, received Emirati professional fighter Ibrahim Al Hosani, winner of the gold medal in the 9th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held in Abu Dhabi last month.

The meeting, which took place on Saturday at the Emiri Court, was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler's Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Khalifa Al Jarman, Chairman of Ajman Club and other club top managers.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi praised Al Hosani’s achievement. The fighter is also an international referee, a coach and founder of the martial art game in the Ajman Club.

Al Hosani said he was delighted to meet the Ruler of Ajman and his Crown Prince, saying their recognition of his winning would spur him to continue his work as a referee, trainer and player as well as representative of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation in the northern regions.

He said he is proud that he is the first Emirati referee in the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

"My victory in the Masters 69kg brown belt is a milestone in my sports career," he said.
