Khorfakkan came from behind to steal a 2-1 last-minute home win against Ittihad Kalba at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium on Sunday.

Ahmed Alnaqbi broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute and gave the lead for Ittihad Kalba, when he unleashed a superb free-kick that curled around the Khorfakkan wall as it flashed into the top corner past goalkeeper Ahmed Alhosani.

Only a minute before the final whistle, Mehdi Abeid grabbed the equalizer and rescued a point for Khorfakkan, when he met Ali Aldhanhani's excellent cross with a clinical first-time finish from the six-yard box.

Aylton Filipe put the hosts ahead at the death when Abdulrahman Yousuf's first attempt was denied by the goalkeeper as the ball fell to the Portuguese forward, who brilliantly poked the rebound into the back of the net.
