Speedo redefines the fitness category with swim fitness
Speedo is set to continue boosting the fitness market in the Middle East region in 2014 by rolling out its global marketing campaign 'Get Speedo Fit' in which the world's leading swimwear brand encourages consumers to swap the gym for a swim.
Swimming is one of the best ways to get fit, and a great alternative to other forms of land based exercise, offering excellent cardiovascular benefits, combined with its low-impact nature.
Moreover, it uses every muscle in your body, from your neck to your toes, making it a great full body workout.
Through extensive consumer and market insight, Speedo has identified Swim Fitness as a growing trend in the market and the 'Get Speedo Fit' global product and marketing programme aims to elevate the status of swimming for fitness to that of going to the gym, running, or playing a sport to keep fit.
