UAE hockey players are competing for the 2013 Emirates Hockey League Cup.
The Emirates Hockey League matches at Dubai Ice Rink will be held on January 9, 16, 23 and 30; February 6, 13, 19 and 27. The playoffs will determine which teams qualify for semi-finals and for the final to be held in March 2013.
Dubai Ice Rink, the Olympic-sized ice rink managed by Emaar Retail LLC in The Dubai Mall, is partnering with Abu Dhabi Ice Sports Club to host the Emirates Hockey League Dubai matches, for the third consecutive year.
Last year’s champions, Dubai Mighty Camels, will face Abu Dhabi Storms, Abu Dhabi Scorpions, Al Ain Theebs and Al Ain Vipers at the tournament, with plenty of action, thrilling passes and goals guaranteed to engage the spectators.
