Ex-Wallabies coach Dwyer has heart attack
Former Australia coach Bob Dwyer was recuperating from surgery in hospital after suffering a heart attack, the Australian Associated Press reported Thursday.
Dwyer, 72, who led the Wallabies to victory in the 1991 Rugby World Cup, was taken to a hospital in Sydney complaining of chest pains on Wednesday, AAP said.
After coaching in England notably at Leicester from 1996, Dwyer returned to Australia to take charge of the NSW Waratahs and led them to their first Super Rugby semi-final in 2002.
