Dubai Tennis Championship tickets go on sale

With the strongest ever line up of the world’s best tennis players heading to Dubai for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships next month the Dubai Tennis Stadium will be the most popular place in town from February 18 to March 2.

Organisers announced that nine of the top ten women and six of the top ten men will be vying for the coveted Dubai title, guaranteeing world class tennis action on each day of the tournament.

Tickets for the event will be in high demand and are expected to sell out fast, particularly for the finals, and fans are encouraged to get in early to get their seats with tickets going on sale from January 14.

With players of the calibre of world number one Victoria Azarenka, the amazing Serena Williams and defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska battling it out for the women’s crown, and world number one Novak Djokovic, five-time Dubai winner and perennial favourite Roger Federer and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the fight for the men’s title, the stage is set for a tennis spectacle of Grand Slam quality.

Tournament owners and organisers Dubai Duty Free are thrilled to be welcoming back so many of the world’s best players to what has become one of the most popular and competitive events on the world circuit.

Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice-Chairman of Dubai Duty Free said: “Over the years we have seen the tournament grow and the now regular line up of the very best in the world is testament to the stature and popularity of this event.

With so many top players entered even the early round matches will be marvelous entertainment, and tickets to see the top seeds play are only Dh50,” he added.

Tickets are available from January 14 from the Box Office at the Dubai Tennis Stadium, Garhoud which is open from 9am to 9pm daily.

Grandstand ticket prices range from Dh50 for opening rounds to Dh450 for finals, with season tickets also available.
