Dubai Announces Extension of Remote Learning for Private Schools on Thursday and Friday

The Dubai government has announced the continuation of remote work for employees of all its affiliated entities on Thursday and Friday, April 18th and 19th, 2024, with the exception of jobs that require physical presence at the workplace.

This measure aims to enable teams in the relevant entities to complete their tasks at various locations as quickly as possible, while all concerned authorities in the Emirate intensify their efforts to address the impacts of the low-pressure system experienced by the country during the past two days.

Furthermore, it has been decided to continue distance learning for private schools in Dubai during the next two days (Thursday and Friday), with the aim of ensuring everyone's safety and enabling schools to complete the necessary preparations to receive students and resume in-person classes at the beginning of the upcoming week.
