Dubai: If you are always looking for a good discount, this card might be for you. The Fazaa card is a discount card, launched as an initiative by the UAE’s Ministry of Interior, to support the community by offering discounts and benefits across sectors.

From deals on cars, to discounts on outdoor experiences, retail shopping and health and beauty, the card helps you cut costs across everyday spending in the UAE.

But before you apply, it’s important to note that the Fazaa card is not open to everyone.

Are you eligible?

You may qualify if you fall under one of the following categories:

  • Employees of government or semi-government entities
  • UAE nationals working in the private sector
  • Frontline workers
  • People of Determination (Hemam card holders)
  • Students or specific groups under special initiatives
  • Employees of companies registered with Fazaa

How to apply for the Fazaa card

  • Download the Fazaa app from the Apple App Store, Google Playstore or Huawei AppGallery.
  • Open the menu on the left and tap on ‘Manage membership’.
  • Select the card you wish to subscribe to.
  • Select the duration for your card (3,6 or 12 months)
  • Make the payment using your credit card.

Once you make the payment the digital card will be issued, and you can use it at various outlets through the Fazaa app.

How much does it cost?

Fazaa offers three membership tiers, with higher tiers unlocking greater discounts:

  • Platinum card – AED 99 per month
  • Gold card – AED 59 per month
  • Silver card – AED 19 per month

If you don’t qualify under the main categories, you may still be able to access basic discounts through the Fazaa family card, which has been made available to all resident families in the UAE, who have at least one child.
