Believe it or not: Eternal flame burns under waterfall

Scientific researchers claim this is a natural eternal flame behind a waterfall in western New York state. It is supposed to be one of a few hundred "natural" eternal flames around the world, fed by gas seeping to the Earth's surface from underground. This flame is believed to have perhaps been llit by Native Americans hundreds or thousands of years ago.
