Chile wildfires leave 7 dead

CHILE, Carahue: Chile's President Sebastian Pinera has invoked controversial anti-terror legislation after seven firefighters died in the wildfires which authorities said may have been caused by radical indigenous activists. An unusually hot and dry start to the summer has seen more than 50 blazes, fanned by high winds, burn down scores of homes and destroy some 50,000 hectares of woodland and brush.
