Cruise ship 'monsters' stir discord in Venice

Venice has long been a popular destination for holiday makers, and in recent years the number arriving via cruise ships has soared. But while many Venetians welcome the much needed revenue generated by visitors, others claim the massive liners are destroying the laguna and Venice's unique spirit.
