Saudi school head honours cleaner

A school head in Saudi Arabia who wanted to honour an Asian cleaner for keeping the school clean kissed his head and told the students to call the cleaner a teacher.

A YouTube film showed the school held a function to honour the cleaner while its head Jaafar Al Tayyar called him and gave him a kiss on the head.

Sabq newspaper quoted Mansour Al Asbani, a teacher at the school in the northwestern town of Al Aula, as saying:”The school’s head spoke nicely about the cleaner in front of all students….he said the cleaner is the teacher of all of us and must be called a teacher not a cleaner.”
