Jeeps drag-racing in Abu Dhabi

Western Motors, the authorised distributor of Jeep and Fiat in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Al Ain’s Eastern Motors, hosted the country’s first Jeep Street and Racing Technology (SRT) drag racing competition at the Yas Marina Drag Racing Centre.

A total of 43 racers, mostly UAE nationals between the ages of 18 and 35, kick-started the first round of races right before sunset.
Taking first place was UAE national Jassim Al Muhairy with Jan Schiller Ake from Sweden and Salem Said Al Dahmani, also from UAE in second and third respectively.
