Video: Deer wanders in Saudi city

Residents of a Saudi city were surprised when they saw a deer wandering unattended on the streets after it apparently broke loose from its owners.

A YouTube film published by ‘Sada’ Arabic language daily showed some men tried to catch the animal, but it was too fast for them.

Sada said the incident took place in Makkah and that it was not immediately clear where the dear came from.

“It might have escaped from its owner or a wildlife reserve and walked aimlessly into the city,” it said.
