Video: Man assaults car cleaner in Qatar

A Qatari man assaulted an Asian car cleaner at a public petrol station and owners said the man was identified and would be prosecuted.

A YouTube film showed the Qatar, dressed in the traditional Gulf dishdasha (gown), briefly argued with the cleaner before hitting him on the head, causing him to fall on the ground.  The film was published on social media and regional newspapers.

The government-owned company which runs the station said the Qatari driver had been identified by the police and would be arrested and punished.
