Woman faked her own workplace injury

Sheyla White was working for Cinque Terre Energy Partners in Fort Lauderdale.

She said sprinkler head fell from the ceiling, bounced up and hit her in the head.

Company filed a compensation claim but insurance company grew suspicious.

An investigation found video footage of White striking herself in the head.

She avoided maximum sentence of five years in prison, and was sentenced to 18 months of probation instead.
