World's heaviest earthworm found, then killed in UK

London's Natural History Museum released footage showing the largest earthworm ever found in the United Kingdom.

The earthworm, which has been named Dave by researchers, wriggled his way into the record books after being found on a vegetable patch in Cheshire in northern England.

Measuring 40cm (15.7 inches) and weighing 26g, the huge worm is the size of a small snake.
