Last week, boxes of sweets were sent to almost all the major media houses in India on behalf of the Bachchan household, announcing the arrival of the youngest member in their family.

The card simply stated Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter and Abhishek, Aishwarya's daughter. They omitted Beti B's name as if it was not important at all.

Arrival of the youngest member in the Bachchan household, Aaradhya Bachchan, has had the media talking about her and her mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan more than anything else for almost four months now.

The curiosity surrounding the 'little one' increased as the parents avoided publishing any picture or revealing her name to the media. Father Abhishek Bachchan justified being tight-lipped saying that they don't want to make a "big deal" out of the name by announcing it publicly. But that's exactly what the Bachchn family did when they hid her name.

The media fraternity did get nosey and pushy to find out the name. The Times of India, after some investigation, did find out that the family registered a name Aaradhya Bachchan in the Mumbai Municipality office.

Still father Abhishek Bachchan and grandfather Amitabh refused to reveal the name on any platform.

Though the name was out in the open yet Bachchan family sent boxes of sweets sans her name.

Here lies the irony - Beti B was the reason why the sweets were distributed yet they refrained from letting her name out.

The mystery of Beti B's name continues to grab headlines in the absence of any confirmation from the Bachchan household. Obviously, the Bachchan family has contributed a big deal in creating this hype surrounding the four-month-old.

If they didn't want a media circus going around for months, they could have done what other celebrities do - reveal her name. After all, the Bachchan family is not exactly media shy or inactive on the social media front.
