Aishwarya Rai's 'Beti B' gives her mom a break

Published

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who delivered a beautiful baby girl on November 16, 2011, will not make a comeback before at least one year, it seems.

Aishwarya has decided to take a year-long break to give priority to her doe-eyed daughter as she wants to spend more time with her.

Her silver screen comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali has to take a back seat till then, reports ibtimes.

Rumors surrounding the actress indicated that Bhansali met up with the actress and convinced her to work on his pet project 'Bajirao Mastani'.

If sources are to be believed the filmmaker has also spoken to Shah Rukh Khan to be part of this project. King Khan also reciprocated and displayed keen interest in the project.

Bhansali was keen to repeat his 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' cast – Salman Khan and Ash –but that combination is now out of question due to the tumultuous past the two actors shared.

After their tempestuous romance, Salman and Ash had a much publicised break up after which the two never shared on-screen space.

Bhansali and Salman Khan who were once very close friends, also went separate ways due misunderstandings and hence the movie now went to SRK.

Earlier, speculations were rife that Aishwarya Rai would make a quick comeback after her delivery. Stories of how Ash is trying to get back into shape have been doing the rounds for some time now.

However, all that speculation can be put to rest with this bit of news Aishwarya will take a long break to enjoy her motherhood.

Rai who is often cited as "the most beautiful woman in the world," was a model before she pursued a career in acting. She was crowned Miss World in 1994 and since then has acted in over 40 films.
