Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy has hit the headlines time and again.

There have been reports of people betting on the date and the baby to be born.

The expected auspicious delivery date, 11.11.11 came and went, but there is no news about the child.

Many reported that Ash wanted her delivery on this date and would go for C-section.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were last spotted on November 10th, when the couple visited Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai for her regular checkup.

Ash chose this particular hospital as her sister-in-law Srima reportedly gave birth to her son at the same hospital.

Seven Hills hospital has reportedly taken all the necessary precautions for the safe delivery of Aishwarya's baby. Meanwhile all news channels in India seem to be following guidelines issued by the Broadcast Editors’ Association on baby Bachchan coverage. They are maintaining a stoic silence on the issue.

Amitabh Bachchan's twitter account saw little update from the very regular senior Bachchan. His last update was: "T 557 -The family gathers together from all over as we wait for the 'arrival' .. Greatest joy for me - a full house and the 'chahel - pahel".

Fans just hope to hear good news of a healthy mother and child.

    Yes most probably Aish baby will be ugly. Abhishek is much more ugly than Aish. Aish is good looking and fair genes are recessive. So chances are the baby will be ugly.
