The Dubai-based retailer frozen yogurt The Frozen Yogurt Factory is opening two new outlets and will hire around 16 people.

The Frozen Yogurt Factory will be opening two outlets shortly here in UAE and each outlet will have 7-8 staff members, said its chief executive Fadi Younes.

The company also aims to expand to other regional markets like Bahrain, Egypt and Kuwait in the next phase of expansion by appointing franchisees.

The Frozen Yogurt Factory started with its first outlet in Dubai Mall in January 2010 and within 10-month time opened its second kiosk in Abu Dhabi’s Marina Mall.

Today it has five active locations and two launching shortly throughout GCC in all prime locations.

Many international markets/investors have also shown a keen interest in the brand and there are many talks that are in the final stages of going through. Some of them include; India, Pakistan and the European regions.

“Frozen Yogurt has been around for several years but what makes us different is the whole DIY – Do It Yourself concept, where the consumer have the independence to design his/her own flavor,” added Younes.

The premier frozen yogurt seller has announced its 2012 plans to be more regional, and to launch their new outlets in Qatar, Iraq and Jordan. They will be hiring 10 to 12 staff members per outlet.
