Published

Dubai-based district cooling services provider Empower today announced the opening of its latest Customer Service Centre in Dubai’s Business Bay area, enhancing ties with its 10,000 customers in the neighbourhood.

The new Customer Service Centre will meet the needs of customers in the Business Bay area, including registration, bill enquiries and payment and complaints resolution for up to 180 customers per day. This is the fourth facility of its kind, after similar centres in Al Hudaiba Awards Buildings, the Jumeirah Beach Residence and Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

“Value-based customer service is an integral part of Empower’s operations,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer of Empower. “We have evolved into the largest district cooling network anywhere in the world. This coupled with the fact that cooling amenities have developed into an everyday necessity like water or electricity makes it absolutely crucial to provide the same level of service like utilities providers.”

Empower currently operates two district cooling plants in Dubai’s Business Bay area, with an estimated capacity of 100,000 Refrigeration Tonnes. The most recent facility in Business Bay came on - stream in August 2014, and is notable for being the first district cooling plant build as per Green Building guidelines.
