Shaun Parsons is Complex GM of Le Méridien Dubai Hotel

Shaun Parsons is appointed Complex General Manager, Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre as well as Le Meridien Fairway, announced Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

Parsons, who was the general manager of Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, has a total 20 years’ experience in hospitality industry.

After 15 years with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in the Asia Pacific region, Parsons joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts as a Complex Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage and then Complex Hotel Manager at the Mina Seyahi Complex comprising Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina and The Westin Dubai, which opened in 2008.

“Dubai is the undisputed hub of high-end hospitality within the Middle East and I am delighted to be in a hotel that is constantly evolving with the changing times while retaining its true essence,” he said.

Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre has recently undergone an expansion of guest rooms and state-of-the-art conference and banquet facilities repositioning it as a MICE Destination. The hotel also boasts diverse and varied F&B outlets.

A graduate from Australia’s Victoria University of Technology, Parson is married with three children, and enjoys travelling and tennis.
