Swiss watchmaker Bedat enters UAE

Dubai continues to attract high-end brand and Swiss luxury watchmaker Bedat & Co. Geneve is the latest entrant in the emirate.

The company aims to have presence in five major shopping malls across the UAE – four in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi, said Sabrina Havet, Business Development Manager at Bedat & Co.

Al-Futtaim Watches and Jewellery has expanded its portfolio of franchises by adding the Swiss luxury brand in its ranks.

“We have just opened first ‘Shop-in-Shop’ in Wafi Mall. Next we will open in Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates and Marina Mall,” she said, adding that “we cannot have mass production as we want to keep it an exclusive brand. All the watches are hand-finish. Our brand is exclusive for women.”

The Wafi Mall store was inaugurated by Sabrina Havet, David Keel, Global Sales Director of Bedat, and Thomas Dotzek, Senior General Manager, Al-Futtaim Watches & Jewellery.
