The Global Halal Industry is estimated to be worth about US$2.3 trillion. Major MNC s such as Nestle, Mars Foods & KFC are now insisting that their supply chains & logistics providers are globally Halal compliant to provide international assurance to consumers of product integrity in Muslim and non-Muslim countries alike.
Globally MNC s and SME s can no longer afford to ignore the halal integrity of their supply chain & logistics suppliers and have to take responsibility for their products integrity from farm to factory to fork.
The 3rd Global Halal Trade & Logistics Summit is a unique global platform for the exchange of ideas and information, networking and business development for professionals in the halal compliance, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain industries internationally to share best practice and develop new business networks.
It’s a great pleasure to host the 3rd edition in Dubai and the 3rd edition shows the growing interest from MNC s & SME s in developing Halal compliant supply chains & logistics globally," said Andrew Keable, Group Managing Partner, KW Group.
The Summit is followed by Workshops on Halal Product Integrity & Halal Supply Chain & Logistics. The programme is followed by an official site tour to Jebel Ali Free Zone & Jebel Ali Port.
