Dubai Properties launches 200 villas in Mudon

Dubai Properties (DP), the development arm of Dubai Properties Group, has launched over 200 villas in its Mudon community in Dubailand.

Villas in Rahat, the second phase of Mudon community, will consist of three, four and five bedroom units. The villas are priced from Dh3 million and available in plots range from 6,700 square feet to 10,000 square feet.

Rahat will include leisure and community facilities for residents, Cycle routes, jogging paths and children’s play areas with natural green open spaces.

“Mudon has received strong interest from local and regional buyers due to its location, contemporary design and balanced lifestyle offering.  Strong demand, particularly from investors in the villa sector, has driven the natural progression of the next development and sales phase for Mudon,” DPG Group CEO Khalid Al Malik said in a statement.

“Our ongoing investment in this sector will support the provision of homes for the growing population of Dubai,” he added.

The new launch follows the initial sell-out of the first 398 townhouses in Mudon last year.

Since its launch last year, Mudon’s infrastructure and road network are near completion and community facilities planned for the future include a school and the recently announced 64,000 square feet community centre which will be developed by DP.

With the opening planned for early 2015, the community centre will host a supermarket, restaurants, a pool and gym, tennis courts, a mosque and children’s playground. The community centre will also include a nursery, a clinic, and a multi-function community hall.
