The world’s first 24-carat shoes, designed by Alberto Moretti, will be on sale in Dubai Mall’s Level Shoe District.
The shoes, which have been created in collaboration with HORO, will sell for about Dh9,800 ($2,671).
Apart from Dubai, the unique shoes will be sold at Barneys in New York, Fred Segal in Los Angeles, The Swank in Hong Kong and Harrods in London.
The golden shoes were first presented during the Monte Carlo Grand Prix and Alberto Moretti’s autumn/winter 2013 collection.
Lady Gaga, Cameron Diaz and Ryan Gosling are among the celebrities who have worn Moretti's shoes.
