Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper from Nov 25; free ride from Uber

The fourth edition of Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper (Ades 2015) will run from 25 to 28 November, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec), organisers Dome Exhibitions announced today.

The 4-day event will showcase a range of exclusive promotions, bundled deals, exciting offers and product launches.

Electronic retailers including Sharaf DG, Emax, Plug Ins, and brand dealers Samsung, Toshiba, Alienware, and Hisense, have already confirmed participation in the event that is anticipated to draw over 40 exhibitors, and 40,000 visitors during its four-day run.

Antoine Georges, Managing Director, Dome Exhibitions, said: “In a short span of time this event has become a much sought-after platform for high-technology consumer products in Abu Dhabi. In order to enhance the overall consumer experience and enable more visitors to benefit from the great deals showcased, the upcoming edition of the event has been planned to coincide with the festival season in Abu Dhabi.”

He said the organiser is committed to ensuring that all visitors to Ades bag the best bargains and lowest prices on the widest array of gadgets on display. “Towards this priority, we are working closely with the exhibitors and major brands to guarantee an unrivalled shopping experience for all.”

In conjunction with Ades 2015, Uber Technologies, the US-based international ride booking service provider, will offer two free rides for new and existing Uber customers visiting Ades. The offer can be availed only for trips starting in Abu Dhabi. Visitors keen to benefit from the offer can visit the Uber website and register using the promo code "Ades2015".

Spanning an area of 5,000 sqm, Ades 2015 will products and services related to information technology, consumer electronics, mobile technology, lifestyle and leisure sectors, as well as gaming, home and office automation appliances, sports and medical equipment, security and control systems.
