The smartphone with the world’s most powerful battery has been launched and will roll out into the market on January 21.
Oukitel K10000 boasts a massive 10,000 mAh battery power, which can last almost up to two weeks of active use.

The device can load either Android or Windows. The 5.5-inch device, however, comes preinstalled with Android 5.1 with a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel, 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE and dual SIM card slots. It also has a 13MP rear camera.
A recent video uploaded on YouTube clearly demonstrates the functioning of the device.
Priced at around $240 (Dh880), pre-orders for the device was launched earlier but within weeks the device has now gone out of stock.
Earlier the company had posted another video demonstrating the power capabilities of the device. In the video multiple K10000 devices are being used to power up an oven to cook noodles.
Unlike other mobile devices, the K10,000 has a slightly different design and comes with a hexa-faceted edges and according to the company were made to be curved as well as angular. The device has a solid steel build. The frameless design means the device incorporates 86 per cent of screen to body ratio.

The phones battery can be charged in just 3.5 hours thanks to its flash-charge chipset. The device comes with OTG function whereby it can be used to charge other devices.
