The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST), and a partnership agreement with Aramex, a Dubai-based provider of transportation services and logistic solutions, during the GITEX Technology Week 2016.

"AMIDEAST and Aramex have extensive experience in different fields that will contribute to the provision of logistical support for events organised by the Foundation around the world. They will also play an important role in the launch of several initiatives and in driving the quality of projects in the areas of knowledge and education in line with our efforts to establish Dubai and the UAE as a center of knowledge and research in the region," said Managing Director of MBRF Jamal bin Huwaireb.

Through the MoU, the MBRF and AMIDEAST will strengthen cooperation, coordinate joint efforts to serve the community, and explore initiatives and sustainable programmes to enhance R&D to establish a new generation of scientists, thinkers and researchers in line with the UAE National Agenda 2021.

"We have been providing educational and training services in the Middle East since 65 years, and we plan to develop education and training programs that contribute to the expansion of opportunities for young people, employees and entrepreneurs and trainers," said Theodore H. Kattouf, President of AMIDEAST and former US ambassador to the UAE.

Through the new partnership, Aramex will provide comprehensive transportation services and logistics solutions for all participants of all events and activities organised by MBRF around the world.

In 2015, Aramex was a sponsor of the Nobel Museum in 2015, organised by the MBRF in Dubai annually.

"We are keen to support all efforts aiming at empowering the future generations, and we look forward to further cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation in the near future," Hussein Wehbe, Aramex's General Manager, UAE, said.
