New tender for Al Furjan

Nakheel, a Dubai-based master developer, has floated a tender for the construction of infrastructure systems at its Al Furjan development.

The scope of works includes internal roads with signage and markings, street lighting, medium voltage and low voltage power network, main irrigation network, sewer and potable water network with pump stations, telecom network, fire fighting network and pump station, storm water network, and civil works for the gas network.
The deadline for tender submissions is May 7.

The developer recently awarded two 18-month contracts worth a combined Dh 526 million for the construction of 401 villas and terraced houses at the residential development located adjacent to Discovery Gardens and The Gardens.

The first contract, covering 249 homes, was awarded to Ginco General Contracting, while the other went to United Engineering Construction for 152 homes.
