Samsung will welcome 2014 will two aggressive launches to hit back at rivals and regain the sales momentum.
Samsung could launch its next generation Galaxy S5 next February, even as the South Korean tech giant plans to introduce a gold variant of its popular Galaxy Note 3.
According to a report published in ETNews.
Samsung will start mass production of the Galaxy S5 in January next year and launch it in the market by the end of February 2014.
The report claims that Samsung is advancing the release of its Galaxy S5 due to S4`s poor sales performance, especially since the launch of the Note 3.
Meanwhile the S5 might introduce a 5 inch flexible OLED display, a 64-bit processor, 3GB of RAM, a16 MP camera and 4,000-mAh battery.
Samsung had earlier tried to boost the sales of the Galaxy S4 by introducing a gold variant.
Latest reports also indicate that Samsung will also come out with a white gold and red coloured models of its latest flagship.
Well, if you can opt for the iPhone, Galaxy S4 and the HTC One in Gold, then why not the Galaxy Note 3.
Samsung launched the Note 3 in both white and black colours and later introduced a pink version.
According to a latest report by tech blog Sammobile, the South Korean company that earlier this year launched the golden coloured Galaxy S4 will bring out the two new variants of the Note 3 by the end of January 2014.
It appears that Gold is especially catching on ever since Apple first introduced a golden variant of the iPhone 5S. Soon Samsung followed with a similar Galaxy S4. Last week HTC too announced that it would come out with a gold coloured HTC One.
