2 selling woman for Dh4,000 in Ajman

Two Bangladeshi men are on trial in Ajman after they were caught by the police selling a woman of the same nationality to a man for Dh4,000.

Police, acting on a tip-off, seized the two and the third person just as they handed him over the woman and were paid the sum.

The two confessed in court that they had bought the woman from another Bangladeshi who was using her in vice and that they had slept with her many times.

Newspapers said the two have been charged of human trafficking and committing adultery but made no mention of the other defendants.
