3 men involved in 61 thefts held in RAK

Ras Al Khaimah Police arrested three Asians accused of carrying out 61 burglaries that involved mobile phones, jewellery, blankets and other items.

Police arrested one thief after he tried to sell a mobile phone, which was found to be stolen, newspapers said.

“He led police to his two accomplices. Many of the thefts were carried out at the workers’ living quarters, where they stay,” Emarat Al Youm daily said.
